Back-End services

Where an order becomes an order.

The back end is everything a customer never sees and every part they depend on: the rule that decides a price, the record that says the payment cleared, the message that tells another system what happened. We build that layer and then run it.

Every project on this site runs on a back end we built and configured.

Overview

Back-End, the way we do it

Front ends get the attention because they are the part you can show someone. The back end is where the money and the liability sit. Get it wrong and the screen still looks fine while orders quietly go missing, two systems disagree about a customer, and nobody can say which number is the real one.

We design the data first, then the rules that act on it, then the APIs that expose them, and we run the servers underneath it all. Every system on this site has a back end we built, and several of them we still operate today.

What's included

What you actually get

  • The business rules that decide what your system is allowed to do
  • APIs your website, your apps and your other software can call
  • Databases designed to stay fast as they grow, and migrated without losing a record
  • Built to hold up when the number of users climbs, not only on launch day
  • On servers we configure, secure, back up daily and monitor

How we work

Five steps, no surprises

  1. 01

    We talk

A call or a WhatsApp thread. You tell us what is not working; we tell you honestly whether we are the right people.

  2. 02

    We scope it

A written plan with what you get, what it costs and how long it takes. Fixed, so there are no surprises later.

  3. 03

    We build it

You see it as it goes, not at the end. Changes are cheap while it is still being built.

  4. 04

    We put it live

On infrastructure we set up and secure, tested before the launch date.

  5. 05

    We keep it running

Updates, monitoring and someone who answers. Most clients stay on a monthly agreement.

Questions

About back-end

Can you work with a back end we already have?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. We read it first and tell you what we find, including when the honest answer is that it needs restructuring before new features go in.

How do you handle traffic growth?

By designing for it and then measuring it, rather than assuming. Where load is genuinely unpredictable we build for it up front; where it is not, we do not sell you infrastructure you will never use.

Can our data stay inside Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Say so at the start and we will build for it. Several regulated sectors require it, and it is far easier from day one than as a migration later.
