Who we are looking for
BitBee is a Saudi engineering team. Every system we have delivered runs on infrastructure we configured ourselves, and a number of them remain under our care today.
In practice the engineer who writes the code is the one who deploys it, monitors it and responds when it fails. It is a demanding way to work, and it is the reason clients stay with us after launch.
You have shipped something with real users and stayed with it afterwards. You would rather understand the server your code runs on than hand that responsibility to someone else.
You can explain your work to the person paying for it as clearly as to another engineer, in Arabic and English, because our clients work in both.
How we work
The database, the server, the app and the monitoring are one job, handled by one team.
Launch is the middle of the work. What runs for years afterwards matters just as much.
Including when it costs us the work: that a feature is a poor idea, or that a client does not need what they asked for.
Our clients are not engineers. Work is not finished until it can be explained to them.
Arabic is not a translation pass at the end. It changes the layout, the flow and the wording, and we design for it from the start.
Open roles
Build screens on apps that already have users, with a senior engineer reviewing every pull request.
Own search for BitBee and for the clients who ask for it, in Arabic and English.
No roles match those filters. Clear them, or send us a message anyway; we keep applications on file.
